Majid Al Futtaim malls fly UAE flag for national pride

Majid Al Futtaim’s malls across the country are draped in red, white, black and green in a unified show of patriotism and national pride to mark UAE Flag Day today.

Mall of the Emirates, City Centres Deira, Mirdif, Me’aisem, Al Shindagha and My City Centre Al Barsha in Dubai, and City Centres Sharjah, Ajman, Fujairah, My City Centre Nasseriya and Matajer Al Quoz, Al Khan, Al Mirgab and Al Juraina in the Northern Emirates raised the UAE flag in solidarity and unity with the leadership of the country.

Driven by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid, the Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, the initiative coincides with the accession anniversary of President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to the presidency of the country. 

The malls raised the UAE flag at 11am today. Mall visitors will be offered complimentary flags and scarves in the colours of the flag to celebrate the joyous occasion. Mall of the Emirates will be distributing chocolates to share great moments will all shoppers at the mall.

The mall’s social media pages will also join in the festivities, raising digital flags to spread the spirit.

The flags will remain up until the 46th UAE National Day on December 2nd
